Job Description

Seasonal/Temporary work from 3/3/2025 - 11/15/2025

Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate center pivot and poly pipe irrigation equipment including rolling out poly pipe, setting levees and gates, picking up pipe; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as tractor, plow, disc, planter, drill, spray rig, combine to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, wheat, rice, corn; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer’s fields, load employer’s crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping including mowing turnrows and ditches; Regulate conditions; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; speak and understand English.
