Job Description:

QBHP (Qualified Behavioral Health Professional)Community Based – Inspire ProgramHarrison, Arkansas

The Qualified Behavioral Health Provider provides support and activities through an organized treatment plan designed to ease an individual’s immediate and continued adjustment to community living by using advanced knowledge of psychological concepts and coordinating delivery of mental health services with other services provided by practitioners and community agencies.

What you will get to do:

+ Provide mental health services to individuals and families regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations focused on implementation of the therapeutic treatment plan and as directed by the Mental Health Professional.

+ Participate with inter-disciplinary team and partners with MHP to develop and implement individual treatment plan.

+ Compile records and prepare reports in accordance with Burrell policies and procedures.

+ Document client progress to maintain a permanent record of client activity according to Burrell policies and procedures utilizing electronic medical records.

+ Secure and evaluate information such as medical, psychological, and social factors contributing to client’s situation and capabilities.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science discipline from a four-year college/university is required

+ One to two years related experience and/or training is preferred.

+ Valid Arkansas Driver’s License

+ Favorable recent driving record

+ Requires the use of a personal vehicle to travel into the community and visit clients.

+ Must be able to establish effective relationships with clients and the needed network of care via telephone and personal contacts. Must be able to follow direction and accept supervision.
