A nonprofit client is offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Communications Coordinator located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The role primarily involves communication coordination and marketing tasks within a non-profit organization. The individual we seek will be a key point of contact between various teams and will handle the organization’s day-to-day marketing and communication needs.

This is a part time position – 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

- Create and distribute newsletters to keep all stakeholders informed about organizational updates

- Collect daily photos and supplemental event photos for marketing and communication purposes

- Procure and create copy for radio and TV ads to promote our organization’s services and events

- Maintain the organization’s website regularly, perform regular content audits, and manage the website calendar

- Evaluate and report on social media reach and website analytics to provide insights for marketing strategies

- Communicate pre-event information to event/program attendees/sponsors to ensure they are well-prepared

- Create an end-of-year impact report to highlight our organization’s achievements and impacts

- Write and distribute press releases to media outlets to keep the public informed about our organization’s news and updates

- Utilize your skills in Marketing Communication, Website Content, and Composing Press Releases to effectively perform these tasks.

Requirements – Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

- Proficiency in Marketing Communication is essential.

- Experience with Website Content management is necessary.

- Demonstrated ability in Composing Press Releases.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Proven record of punctuality and reliability.

- Must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Proven customer service skills.
