Job Description
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The successful candidate will be tasked with administrative responsibilities primarily related to accounting, including account reconciliation, handling accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of bookkeeping for the organization
- Performing account reconciliations efficiently and accurately
- Handling all tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Conducting bank reconciliations on a regular basis
- Using Microsoft Excel for data entry and other related tasks
- Assisting with the month-end close process
- Processing payroll for the organization
- Utilizing QuickBooks for various accounting tasks. Requirements – Proven experience in a Bookkeeper role
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of Bookkeeping practices
- Proficient in Data Entry tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Month End Close activities
- Familiarity with Payroll processes
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
