Description
Nursing Assistant-This program of study can be a stand-alone program or part of a technical certificate or associate degree curriculum and is designed to enhance a person's skill set to make him/her more productive and marketable. Student Learning Outcomes for CP Nursing Assistant Program include Describe and complete assignments related to the roles/responsibilities of nursing assistants as they pertain to, ethics, communication, diversity, legal responsibilities and abuse laws; Demonstrate safety and infection control principles/precautions that comply with clinical site policy and state/federal standards of care. Discuss and comply with privacy/confidentiality laws and resident rights. Describe the basic functions of human body systems and describe and/or demonstrate care patterns relating to each of these body systems of various individuals or groups that are within the scope of practice of the nursing assistant. Properly perform essential nursing assistant clinical skills.
