Instructional Program (CIP)
Description
The Welding Technology program emphasizes the knowledge and skill required to work with modern
industrial welding equipment using advanced welding techniques including Stick, Metal Inert Gas (MIG),
and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) techniques. Students will gain the skills to enter the workforce in a variety
of welding fields. Additionally, students in the program will be prepared for specific American Welding
Society (AWS) certifications.
