Description

The practical nursing program embraces the mission of delivering high quality instruction in clinical and the classroom, while ensuring that students are equipped with the knowledge needed to contribute to the profession and the health care needs of the community.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, a Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient bedside care such as personal hygiene, treatments and medication administration. The Practical Nursing program begins every year and combines theory instruction with clinical experiences. The 14 month full-time program is approved by the Arkansas Board of Nursing.
