Description
The Class A CDL program offers two options: a 5-week weekday schedule or a 10-week weekend schedule, totaling 160 clock hours. This course is structured to prepare students for careers as professional heavy truck drivers. Training includes both classroom instruction and practical driving experience on-site. Students have the flexibility to complete the classroom theory component during the first week through either a hybrid format or traditional in-person classes, depending on their preference. The curriculum is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge to pass the state CLP (Permit) and CDL skills (driving) examinations successfully. Instruction covers essential driving techniques, including turning, backing up, maneuvering, and lane changes, among other skills.
