Description
In this 68-hour course (48 hours of classroom/lab of clinical externship) students will become acquainted with the proper handling of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist and be taught how to adequately perform the primary job duties of a Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technicians are sought-after professionals in pharmacies located in hospitals, commercial pharmacies, and other independent pharmacies. Students will learn how to prepare labels, establish and maintain patient profiles and prepare insurance forms. They will learn proper phone etiquette and customer service skills. Upon completion of this course, students will be prepared and eligible to sit for the American Allied Health National Exam to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

We do not offer any financial aid at this time. We do offer a payment plan which allows the student to pay 50% down with the remainder due at midterm. We do have a referral program in place which allows a $50 tuition discount. We also have a $50 tuition discount for students who will be furthering their education by enrolling in a nursing program.
