Description
This is a 11 week course that prepares participants to sit for the CCMA exam through the NHA. Medical assistants have many duties such as taking vital signs of patients, conducting in-office screening tests, collecting and preparing specimens to send to diagnostic laboratories, and recording medical histories. Medical assistants usually work under the supervision of a provider in a clinic setting but hospital positions do exist.
