Description
The Commercial Truck Driving Certificate of Proficiency trains students for skills needed to obtain licensure to drive commercial vehicles and gain an understanding of federal and DOT laws and regulations. Students will develop preventative maintenance, inspection, and safe driving skills. The courses prepare student for the Commercial Learner’s Permit and Commercial Driver License exams. Instruction and training in additional endorsements may be available.
The Commercial Truck Driving CP comprises a 7-credit hour Commercial Driver's License Training course, which provides classroom and hands-on instruction to prepare students for the State of Arkansas CDL examination, and a 4-credit hour Preventative Maintenance and Inspection course.

Testing/Exam Fees
$92.00 Testing fees are due upon registration. Fees are payable to the College, and testing is provided by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.
