Description
The Patient Care Technician program is a combination of both the Nursing Assistant program and the Phlebotomy program. Patient Care Technicians, or PCTs, work under the supervision of nurses, advanced practice personnel, and physicians to provide direct patient care of basic needs and draw labs. Patient Care Technicians are employed in hospitals, long term care facilities, medical offices, and other healthcare related areas.
