Description
The CNA program is housed in Hot Springs at the Hammond Drive location on the former Gardner School campus. The program includes all of the classroom and skills training required by the Arkansas Division of Human Services, Office of Long-term Care. The training will include approximately 17 days of classroom and skills instruction and two days of clinical instruction.

Preliminary entrance to the program is the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). Students must score at NRS Level 3 (National Reporting System) prior t being admitted into the program. Students who do not score at that level will be referred to the Adult Education Program to brush-up on deficient subjects such as math and/or reading. Subsequent exams will be administered periodically. Students must maintain an NRS Level 3 or advance from NRS Level 3 on both reading and math exams.
