Description
Personal care includes hands-on assistance with activities such as basic hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, laundry services and housekeeping. Students who complete the PCA program are eligible to work at home care agencies, as well as assisted living facilities. This is also an excellent program for those who are meeting the demands of taking care of family members who are in poor health or need some type of care assistance. PAL’s Personal Care Aide Certification curriculum fulfills the training requirements of the Arkansas Medicaid Personal Care Training Program and the Rules and Regulations for Home Caregiver Training in Arkansas per the Arkansas Department of Health 2014 Arkansas code 20-77-2101.

Refund Policy
At completion of 75% or more of the program, no refund will be awarded to the student.
➢ At completion of 50% but less than75% of the program, the student will be refunded 25% of the tuition.
➢ At completion of 25% but less than 50% of the program, the student will be refunded 50% of the tuition.
➢ At completion of less than 25% of the program, the refund will be refunded on a prorated basis.
